Sermon: Here, There, Everywhere

“Here, There, Everywhere”

(July 17, 2011) Jacob experiences the presence of God in a dream, which leads him to conclude that God’s presence is in his particular place. The Psalmist, however, believes that there is nowhere we can go to be away from God’s presence. Are we tied to particular places, rocks, buildings, or experience as expressions of God’s presence, or can we celebrate with the Psalmist that God is everywhere? (Genesis 28:10-19; Psalm 139:1-18, 23-24)
