Sermon: The Stones Will Cry Out

“The Stones Will Cry Out”

(April 17, 2011 – Palm Sunday) Jesus warns the religious leaders of his day that if his disciples keep quiet, the rocks themselves will cry out. Have we been too quiet in our praise, that the stones might need to speak for us? Who else has been silenced? How might we cry out on their behalf? (Luke 19:28-40 – slightly atypical for Palm Sunday)

Largely based on a sermon I heard preached by Rev. Steve Clunn. Thanks for the inspiration, brother, and consider yourself lovingly imitated.
