“Blessed to be a Blessing”
(November 17, 2010) Jesus tells those who are challenging him that the most important thing in the world is to love God with all our hearts and then to love our neighbors in God’s name. When it comes to how and why we contribute to the church, it flows from those two things: love of God and love of neighbors. On the one hand, we are blessed so that we may be a blessing to others, while on the other hand, we are blessed by the opportunity to be a blessing to others. How is God stretching and growing each of us so that we may delight in being a blessing? (Matthew 22:15-21, 35-40)
