“In Balance and Imbalance”
(July 18, 2010) Martha is worried and upset about all the things that need to be done, and I can completely resonate with that! The problem is not really that we want to show our love of God through our service to our neighbors, but that we can let that service become worry and distraction and obligation, instead of joy and blessing. When we do that, we stretch ourselves too thin, and are likely to topple over rather than flourish in our faith. (Luke 10:38-42)
